Every television channel is debating the color of smoke right now.
I realize that it is symbolic of something bigger, but the sight of these people trying to decide if it is white or black is just ridiculous.

CNN: "New Pope: The World Waits"

"The bells are ringing.. but that could just mean it's 6 o'clock."

...is Edward R. Murrow doing about 10,000 RPMs in his grave.

6. you know I was wondering:
"How many fucking times between now and the white smoke will we have to hear white smoke=pope, black smoke=no pope. I even heard Amy Goodman say it...but I won't say 'Democracy Now!' has jumped the shark because of it.

7. You have to know that the MSM were hoping to milk the pope cow
for another week or two. They have to be disappointed.

9. They'll milk it regardless..
Get ready for endless human interest stories about the new pope in the coming weeks.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the "news" gives non-stop airtime to an religious head of state's non-democratic election, but barely said a word about our own stolen elections in 2000 and especially 2004?
