Three seasons of WW, soon to be a fourth. And I'm quitting after that; the subsequent seasons without Aaron Sorkin at the helm just aren't the same. They run the gamut from 'close-but-no-cigar' to 'just-plain-awful.'

I really wish "Sports Night" had lasted more than two seasons. It was a great progressive blast of television!

3. Blasphemer!
But seriously........ :-)

If you watched WW more, you'd see some of Aaron Sorkin's signature themes: For example, the last episode of the first season of both SN and WW was entitled "What Kind Of Day Has It Been".

A favorite line of Sorkin's: "All you ever had to do to make me happy was come home at the end of the day." Casey McCall says that to his son. Jed Bartlet says that to his daughter.

4. I know, I know!
I work in politics, so half of it is that I don't want to relive work when I'm at home and the other half is that it's not a hugely accurate depiction of what really goes on, which annoys me because that's the image Americans start to get.

7. Well if I wanted an accurate depiction of the way political things
play out in this country, I'd turn on C-SPAN. It's okay for TV to idealize things a bit.

8. Ya know, I both agree and disagree with that.
I see where you're coming from, it just pisses me off that this is what some ignorant bastards think REALLY goes on in Washington and then make real life decisions based on a fictional TV show. I'm not saying it should be pulled or anything, but I don't want to support it either, so I don't watch.

9. For the MOST accurate depiction of politics
Buy the D.V.D.s of 'Yes Minister' and 'Yes Prime Minister' - now that's accurate.
