Mom's been gone 3 years today...

June was only 70 when she died. It has been a tough 3 years, but time does it's job, and things are getting better. So far, no tears this year.

I lost my father almost 5 years ago and it is still hard for me. The good news is that the more time that passes the more I naturally start focusing on the good memories. At this point, thinking of him brings me more pleasure than pain. I couldn't say that 2 years ago and certainly not 5 years ago, but I can say that now. May you someday find that as well.
