gave myself a reprieve from television talking heads yesterday.
Surfing the channels yesterday afternoon, I happened upon the A&E channel as it was beginning to play THE SHIPPING NEWS.
I had read E. Annie Proulx's book a few years back and loved it. The movie was just as enjoyable and a good break from all the news crap that is on television these days.
