Poll question: When did "Bewitched" Jump the Shark?
It had a long run (1964-1972)

1. I'm not a Bewitched scholar, BUT...
...I was never a fan of the episodes in which Elizabeth Montgomery played Samantha AND her twin sister.

So SUE me!

2. Serena?
She was an acquired taste, but I loved when she sang "I'll blow you a kiss in the Wind."

3. Yep, Serena.
It was too much of Elizabeth Montgomery channeling Agnes Moorehead. I KNOW Endora was supposed to be an "unlikable" character, but I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY did not like her.

I guess that means Agnes did her job WELL.

4. Serena was her cousin.
She also had a great aunt (who had been painted by DaVinci) who looked exactly like her. (I guess that happens with witches).

So sue ME. I guess I AM a Bewitched scholar. :-)

5. I believe it was revealed in one episode that witches only age
one year every hundred years. Darrin would be old and wizened while Sam would still be young and beautiful. He just had to accept it...

6. that can't be right, can it?
I don't remember that specific number (guess I'm not much of a Bewtiched scholar after all), although it is "true" that witches age much slower than mortals.

But 100 to 1 can't be right. If Samantha looked around 20 when the series started, she would have been 2000, right? I think that Samantha was around during the 1700s, but not during the 1500s.
