Poll question: So what are you?
I'm definitely low maintenance (I lied in that other post) but high strung. How about the rest of you?

I'm just naturally chill. It takes a LOT to get me to get annoyed.
Except when I'm watching Yankee games.

13. I am DEFINITELY high maintenance and I can be high strung...
HM not because I demand lots of expensive gifts and stuff like that; but HM because I am very needy about knowing that my husband loves me and respects me; that sort of thing. I have (believe it or not) low self esteem, and only a lot of emotional attention will relieve it. I can be high strung, but am not usually...Only if circumstances warrant it. I occasionally do get wound up about something, and then my husband is terrific at getting me to see the long view. This calms me down, and makes us both happy. He is so very good for me! And mostly I do just fine in the esteem department...After 40 years of marriage, I sure do hope so! I've internalized a lot of the wonderful things he has said to me...

sorry to go on so long...

:silly:

24. Not exactly. High maintenance has more to do with how much time
you take to get ready for something, how much reassurance you need from your SO that you are "it," how much time you spend shopping for just the "right" outfit - that kind of thing.

29. I know, and sadly, I'm not .
Except it does take me about 40 minutes to go from shower to dressed. And that includes the hair thing. But high maintenance sounds so...I don't know...so Vogue. :-)

23. sadly...
God help my SO.
I am high maintenance and moderately high strung (it's situational - in general I'm pretty laid back). But the maintenance thing - I kind of need a little bit of reassurance as I go along. Sigh......

36. Low maintenance and high strung I guess.
I don't need much to keep me content, I'm reasonably confident, but I like to be busy and am just intrinsically demanding of myself. Idleness is not me.
