Anybody see Bill Murray in Lost In Translation? (spoiler)

It was terrific. I'd never seen Murray in a serious role, and he was EXCELLENT! So natural. I hope he plays more complex roles like this.

But my big question of course is "what did he whisper in her ear at the end"? I was left with the feeling that there was a future there of some sort.

That would have involved too much of a committment to dramatic structure.

We're not meant to know.
It's left to our imagination.

That moment, that decision to keep the
whispered words private, was part of what
made the movie great.
