4. Too bad...
You can't get your gaping maw around some of the bacon the butcher in my one-horse town has made for him. It would knock yer' dick in the dirt. ;-)

No water. Just gobs of bacony goodness.

Edited on Thu Apr-14-05 06:41 PM by Bush_Eats_Beef
BLT on toast with a fried egg.

In my warehouse days, it was...except for the dreaded "breakfast burrito"...the most FREQUENTLY ORDERED SAMMICH from the morning "roach coach."

A BLT, on white toast, with Mayo...WITHOUT the fried egg...is like IRAQ without its sovereignty, YOU BASTID.

:toast:

6. It's not.
But give me whole wheat or seven grain toast, and you might have an argument...

There was a time in my life when I hate turkey, Swiss, bacon, and lettuce on whole wheat bread for lunch every day.

And substitute a very thin slice of red onion. So I guess I have a BOT. And of course we are a Miracle Whip family. None of that Hellman's for us, no siree.

Also, the tomatoes and lettuce ideally should be fresh from one's garden. And the bacon extra-lean.

Toasted poppy seed roll
Soft Hass Avocado slices
Splash of lime juice
Grilled chicken breast slices heavily peppered
Tomato slices
A runny egg
A few thin cucumber slices
A couple of peppered bacon slices

Just to note, sandwiches made in restaurants in California OWN the crap that is made Back East
