Two boys being fitted for tuxes (tuxi) tonight

$159 a pop, not including shoe rental (which we probably won't need)

Plus, the cost of the prom tickets. (And oh yeah, my kids are behind on class dues, which they have to pay before they can go to prom...)

Someone brought up limo and I thought I was going to hit someone.

I remember when the girl's dress cost $150 and the guy rented the tux for $40.

This doesn't even include the tickets for the military ball.

What a racquet.

1. My tux rental was $75 in 1989.

I think prom tickets were $20. For dinner we went to a very fancy restaurant, that came to $50.

With 20/20 hindsight, I can say it was a TOTAL waste of money. Not that I didn't like my date (my gf at the time), just that in terms of "bang for the buck" it struck out.

Would rather have spent that money on several ordinary dates.

at my prom- one guy wore one the rest regular suits.
