Maybe I haven't given him a chance, but Springer's voice is as grating as a rightwinger hate radio host.

I don't LEARN as much from him as I did from Unfiltered.

I miss hearing a woman's voice in the morning, or at least a pleasant voice.

They've taken almost half the value of Air America away for me, and hence Sirius, 'cause I only subscribe to Sirius to get AA, and I love AA for Randi in the afternoons and Unfiltered in the morning.

Did Unfiltered make too many anti-corporate comments and get cut for it? They seemed pretty hip to the complaints about corporate government, and maybe not big enough to weather it. I really miss Unfiltered..Rachel and Liz, or Rachel and Chuck.

1. I just got an e-mail from Rachel ...
her new show is going to start on Thursday (it will be at 5 A.M. Eastern) - that is 2 AM for me. BUT ... the program will be available for download.

I haven't even listened to Springer. I missed hearing intelligent conversation; Rachel has a doctorate in politcal science, and, to me, was very well-informed.

So, I intend to listen to her new show.

5. Yes, she is well-informed. I learned almost as much from her as from
Randi. I miss the talking points.

Glad to know we'll have the option of downloading it; however, I already listen to so much Pacifica that I doubt I'll have time to listen..unless it's a full day later during my morning commute..but maybe I'll give it a try.

Pacifica carries BBC at that hour and I can no longer stomach it.

2. I agree with you
I loved Unfiltered in the morning. Springer has a harsh preachy tone. Every show sounds the same. The women had a much more diversified program.

4. I miss Rachel's voice, too
At first I got a little tired of all the talk about hip-hop on the show and actually stopped listening for a while. Then I started again and got hooked on Rachel, Liz and Chuck. Oh man I love those three now but especially Rachel and her smooth as cream voice. :loveya:
