Poll question: Jack Lemmon or Walter Matthau?
As long as we're talkin' film duos...

1. I love 'em both, but I think Lemmon became too mannered
and aware of his technique as he got older while Matthau was always smooth and underplayed. But I think they both have done some outstanding stuff in their careers.

But Lemmon is one of my all-time fave actors - The Apartment and The Out-of-Towners are two of my fave movies.

12. Please. Don't do this.
Please. Let us not pit these two great actors against one another in a way that could result in diminishing the greatness of one in favor of the other. It's not nice.

This is not supportive of art in general and causes tension among us who enjoy mutual admiration for both Mr. Matthau and Mr. Lemmon.

I beg you in the name of God all merciful. Spare me.

13. I'm with you.
I almost shoved a sharpened pencil through my soft pallet and into my brain rather than choose.

Then I realized that it wasn't mandatory and I might be overreacting just a wee bit.

And none too soon...

15. Not entirely.
I have some very unattractive scribblings in #2 pencil on the roof of my mouth.

One bit looks kind of like a horsie...
