 IRUMA, Japan -- An old man has been arrested for using his flashlight to smash a pair of junior high schoolgirls in the face because they were being too loud during a cherry blossom viewing party here, police said. The two schoolgirls sustained facial injuries that physicians suspect will take about two weeks to heal. Masayasu Yamabe, 63, the pensioner arrested for inflicting bodily injury, admits to the allegations.
