How can I tell if I am a Saint, or maybe just Saint material?
Should I try to get some miracles going or just pray a whole lot? Maybe I could concentrate and try to lift something heavy by means of mental powers, like a small spaceship. I guess I'd have to make sure to do it in front of someone who could tesify at my beatification.

Ugh. Am I going to have to mention this post at confession?

1. Pray!
Your miracles can wait until after you die. To get you beatified and on the way to sainthood, you will need people to pray to you to intercede with God. If their prayers are answered and there's no physical explanation for the prayers being answered, you get credited with a miracle. You need a certain number of miracles to get beatified.
So I guess while you're still alive, you should develop a cult of followers who promise to pray to you after you leave this world. Good luck, St. Mizmoon.

2. I am often asked this very question.
If you want to become a Saint you need several things:

1) You need to be from a country that has no saint.
2) The Church must be desperate to gain a foothold there.
3) All around goodness or rumors thereof should help.

Having met all of the three above factors, your sainthood should be in the mail as we speak.

3. You could always be me
When I loan money to a friend or relative, they always tell me "You're a saint!"

It's an overrated honorific, IMHO...
