Two dates in less than a week.... after months of a dating drought

Don't ask me how... but I've got another date. I'm going to see Rod Stewart at Mohegan Sun (CT) on Wednesday.

2. The only thing I can think of

is that I've made a lot of positive changes in my life over the last 8 months or so, and I think that has boosted my self-confidence.

Beyond that, I think it's just being in the right place at the right time.

I haven't had a date in about six years. I'm kinda shy, so that doesn't help (neither does working at home)!

7. One guy I met at work

I work at a college and he's a security guard there.

The other guy I met at a bar (mind you, the bars I go to are pretty tame--older folks who don't get drunk, and the music isn't so loud that you can't have a conversation)
