Sorry Guinness, I have a new favorite stout......
Weyerbacher's Old Heathen. Freakin' rich and creamy and delicious. Anyone who has access to this bad boy needs to be drinkin' it. I got a sample bottle from a friend of mine at work whose Uncle had shipped him a sampler pack.

Weyerbacher doesn't distribute into Texas, dammit. I gotta figure out a way to get my hands on some more of this stuff. Cuts Guinness to shreds. WAY more complex and interesting. The taste was all chocolate and espresso, with hints of almonds and toffee. Thick and creamy and STRONG at 8% ABV.

1. I'll watch for it.
For when I'm not drinking Boulevard Porter or IPA (draft).

Thanks for the recommendation.

2. My favorite Guiness IS distributed in Texas. Guess I'll stick to it until
go to New England for vacation. Maybe I can try Old Heathen up there.
