Where is a nice liberal community in Florida or any other East Coast area which has a mild climate and plenty of liberals?

I heard Port Orange, Florida is a very cool place. Any other suggestions?

1. Many neighborhoods in Broward County, FL are blue.

Andrews Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale and the neighborhoods around it were plastered with Kerry-Edwards signs a month or two before the election when I was there. Lots of Democrats over thataway.

Gainesville has a good number of blue voters, along with Tallahassee, thanks to the two big universities in those cities. Just outside the city limits, though, things drop off sharply and the red voters prevail.

Maybe move over the Pinellas County. It has a Republican Congressman but there are enclaves of blue citizens and the beach at Fort DeSoto is terrific.

2. Fuck Florida! come live in CA. Better weather, truly blue. More fun too!

Hardly any rain in SoCal and even the red areas like where I live in San Diego arent as read as FL, where I also lived for about 4 years.
