Such as olives (any color/kind), limes, gin, okra, bleu cheese, and oysters.

So there. Wanna make somethin' of it? :grr:

1. I might be the only Greek who's indifferent to olives.
I don't much care for them. :shrug:

Limes are good, especially in alcoholic beverages.

Gin is good.

Fried okra is good.

Bleu cheese is alright, but it's down the list of cheeses I like.

Oysters? Ugh...no thanks.

Make something of it. Nah...we can argue about something more important - like music. :P

But seriously, the only Good Thing on that list is: Limes. :)

Good in a Cuba Libre, essential in a Mojito, good squeezed on Carnitas, great in Key Lime Pie.

You can keep the rest of the 'goodies'.

Gin = NO

Olives = Black only

Oysters = Only heavily cooked + smoked. None of that raw boogery shit.

Okra = Tolerable if batter frined, IE, totally covered up and not identifiable as okra.

I am ok with Limes and Bleu cheese.

And I'm thinkin' THAT'S WHY YOU'RE ASKING NINE BUCKS, ISN'T IT? Because the olives are SUPPOSED to be PITTED?

But, SQUID!!!

How hungry did someone have to be to decide squid was food? It's worse than tripe.

Sure, go to the bait shop and get cheap shit to bulk up a plate of pasta or rice when you don't want to use real fish that might cost real money.

Bleau cheese is OK sometimes (like when it's trapped between a burger and some thick bacon), and I'm indifferent to oysters and okra (I prefer clams and pasta).

Gin and olives are always yucky to me. If I must gird my digestive tract, I'll do it for tequila and jalapenos.

but I love bleu cheese. And who hates limes?

Weird coincidence - last night I dreamed I got this drink from Sonic, I think - don't remember what it was supposed to be, but it was hot chocolate with ice and it had a lime in it. I'm all, "What's this lime doing in my iced hot chocolate?"

On edit, it was more like, "What is this, and why'd they put a lime in it?"

You apparently haven't had any okra which was cooked *correctly*. No self-respecting Southerner would eat okra that was slimy- it means it was prepared by a *gasp* Yankee! ;)

Seriously- okra and tomatoes is to die for! And gumbo just wouldn't be the same without okra.

Your entire post is just sacrilige. How the hell can anyone hate olives? Nectar of the gods, my dear. :9

I can only assume that you were in a horrific accident as a child and that your taste buds were scorched beyond repair, so that you can't actually taste good food. :)

And I know you only hate the bleu cheese because it's French! Fess up! :P
