1. Whipped cream and...
are you just dipping your finger in the bowl, or are you putting it on something, like, say, peach cobbler, apple pie, chococate brownies, or your SO?

I like whipped cream on hot fudge sundaes...yummy yummy yummy!

... and maybe occasionally sneaking a finger-lick...

... although I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't even considered the g/f yet. Good idea. :)

6. Yes... messy is very fun...

... most people have no idea exactly how fun messy can be. I've had the pleasure of discovering that on a few occasions.

TMI? :)

You need a 9 inch Graham Cracker pie shell. You can purchase them at most supermarkets. I like to make my own, but let's go with the ease for now, and we'll graduate to handmade crust another day.

1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yoks (the whites are not used by you can save them for tomorrow morning's omelet)
1/2 cup fresh key lime juice

If you can't get fresh key limes, use Persian Limes, or Nellie & Joe's. Don't use Rose's, it's not the same product.

Combine milk, egg yolks and lime juice and blend until smooth. Pour into the pie shell and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. (No, that wasn't a typo, just 15 minutes).

Allow to stand for 10 minutes before refrigerating.

Just before serving, smother in freshly whipped cream.

I made her go 'shucks.'

I'm so corny. It's true, so I ear, as amaize-ing as it sounds and as much as it may go against the grain to butter her up this way.....

Mmmmm...Key lime pie. Need. Need. Need.

17. My mom grew up in Japan.
When she was a child, she didn't know there were other varieties. I was lucky, on my last visit, mom gave me some Rainiers. What a woman!

Even if she drives me batty sometimes. That's a mother's job, though.

She can give you chapter and verse on fascists, too. (Hint: she's not real fond of them.)

... I prefer to think of it as "free association" or perhaps simply "conversation" :)

... but I'm a regular on a few channels on EFnet. Most of 'em ban people who insist that ALL conversation must be about the specified topic.

and so convenient to tip your head up and squirt it in your mouth.

... it's what I've been using most of the time. But I just LOVE fresh whipped cream. I don't see myself buying canned too often from now on.

32. Did you see Goonies?
It's a fun kids' movie from the good old 80's. In one scene, Chunk, the fat kid, pulls a can of whipped cream out of the frig and squirts it in his mouth. Unbridled joy on that boy's face! I feel the same way.

PS -- It was one of the first films Speilberg produced.
