If You Could, Would You Pay $6,000 For A Nuclear Fallout Shelter?
I was just looking at a site for fallout shelters, wondering how much they cost.

I'm not sure WHY I was looking for them, but I found one and it cost $6,000.

I thought that was pretty cheap. I expected something like $30,000.

Not that I own a home or anything, and thus, have no place to even put a fallout shelter, should I decide to buy one. But if you could put one near your house, would you?

For $6,000 ?

here's the site, BTW...

3. I don't know, does North Carolina have the bomb?
As far as I know, this is the only scenario that would lead to Columbia getting bombed but that would leave a surrounding world worth crawling out for. Unless SC beats Ohio State again...

5. Pretty wacky
I guess it would help with the errant nuke that happened to land nearby (but not too close) or the nearby reactor that meltsdown.

But going back to the good old days of MAD, there's not much of a point of having a bomb shelter in the back yard. Especially if you live near a target (just about anywhere).
