executive free lunch
tell me about the best lunch you ever had on the company dime.




i had tournedos of beef, lobster tails with mangoes in a chilled salad, along with a starch and vegetable and arugula salad.

-major food/beverage manufacturer corporate headquarters.

i was there to record minutes.

1. only one thing better
free lunch with an economist... nothing's more fun to offer one a free lunch and keep referring to it as such. Test the depths of their devotion to economics...

2. 1997 at Le Francais near Chicago--
I don't know the wine (s) but one was fabulous! The big boss/owner--a major foodie, ordered for us, started with pate, and it's a bit blurry from there...
We were celebrating my VP promotion and gold-handcuffs contract.

Good times...good times.
