I'm not playing games with your use of words but if it were a female too young to have bought the Hummer herself, I would say that her family was selfish and had more cents (dollars) than sense.
If she were old enough to have bought it herself, it would say the same things about her personally. Either way, bad news.

For the same price, one could have a nice vehicle that gets four times the mileage and STILL have enough money left over to feed several African villages for a year.

Those 'Hummers' are a hazard to every other vehicle on the road. Their bumpers are too high. They block the view of traffic around them. They take up too much space. And I've been in one before -- the visibility through the windows sucks majorly, increasing the likelihood the Hummer driver will roll right over some smaller vehicle (like my little Miata, for instance).

To people who say, "Yes, but I need something to haul the kids and all our stuff," I respond, "Get a minivan. They're cheaper, proven safer, and don't encourage our government to invade oil-producing countries."

And my opinion on anyone, male or female, who buys a Hummer is that they are shallow and ridiculous.
