My aunt has started forwarding right-wing e-mails.

She used to just forward those stupid 'pass this on to smart women' or 'send this to your true friends' e-mails, but now she's started sending the holy stuff. Bad enough, right? Well, it gets worse. On Good Friday, she forwarded a mail praising this nutjub sherrif from Maricopa, AZ... I had the day off so I didn't see it till the next Monday, and by the time I saw it my brother had already responded calmly to it... I decided I'd had enough and let everyone on the list know my feelings about the piece. That was a week ago.

So then today, she finally responded. She said that she was upset that inmates got free dental work, and that she was offended that I inferred she was right-wing.

I told her easy enough to solve, don't forward right wing trash. If you agree with right-wing viewpoints, just be careful who you send it to.

*sigh*

I don't know why she's offended. I didn't call HER right-wing... I said the propoganda praising this sherrif was right-wing. Which it IS.

4. Yep... apparently.

Now he tries to rationalize his torture of prisoners in extreme heat by saying 'the soldiers in Iraq have to endure it'... asshole.

This makes three realtives I've snapped at for spreading right-wing crap.

7. Yeah I ignored all the silly and religious ones...

but she votes (or voted?) for democrats, so I think I should fight for this one.

It's just so tiring and annoying and sad.
