What's the Registered User/Lurker Ratio?

For every registered user posting on DU right now, how many people are just lurking and reading do you think?

I've been wondering. I'm going to guess 1 lurker to 4 registered users.

Boards like DU would be good research tools for those asking appropriate questions.

2. DU gets huge amounts of traffic, but hardly all 60,000+ are regulars

I'd say a few hundred up to a thousand regulars, and then many many more lurkers and ocassional posters.

does that number go down when someone gets tombstoned? How many are active?

3. I don't know what the ratio is ........

but I lurked for 5 or 6 months before I registered. (not every day but at least a couple times a week)
Plus there are a lot of times I will lurk and not post anything.... just to catch up on the news.
