!@#$%! Cats Are Shedding! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!
I vaccuumed and mopped the floors yesterday, and today there are cat hair tumbleweeds blowing around my house. I forgot that spring brings the annual shedding festival from hell. I could vacuum all over again today. The hair is clinginf to the wood furniture too! :wtf:

Someone should invent a silent pet vacuum so that you can vacuum at the source.

1. Wouldn't it be easier to just vacuum the cats?

Forget silent, just strap 'em down.

:)

3. They are hard-wired to shed with the brighter/longer days...
If you live in a place with strong artificial light, the shedding can be a year-round process.

That said, I feel your pain! Interesting how you can check the airflow in your house by noting the areas of clustered fur-bunnies on the floor, etc.

All you can do is brush, brush, brush the critters and look forward to summer!

:hi:

My dark blue sofa is now a shade of grey very similiar to Evita's

6. I could make a coat from my two boys
They're 13 and 15 lbs respectively-and not fat. Just big boys!

8. My Abbott is like that too
He's 15lbs and the Doc says that's a good weight for him - he's just a really big ol Tom cat. But most of the fur is coming from Evita, who has this long grey fine hair. She's shedding like she's trying to take off her entire coat.

7. Golden Retriever hair clings like a mo-fo! I grew up with one
and was constantly finding hair even after he died. :-(

10. Try living in Florida...
when they shed YEAR ROUND. I have no sympathy. OK, I do, but you have to have more sympathy for me, who has cat-fur balls year round. :)
