the other was about Monte Cassino, which is where my grandfather fought in the IInd Corps. I could never get him to talk about it when he was alive, and I have been curious about what his war was like. Now that I have read that book I understand why he did not talk about.

It is kinda silly actually. It deals with the Masonic layout of Washington D.C. Several circles, squares and avenues form an upside down pentagram. The Whitehouse is at the very bottom or tip of what is referred to as the Goat of Mendes or Baphomet. It has concrete slab floor (pulled up the carpet and haven't put down ceramic tile yet) and no furniture except a big ol' foosball table.

I'd put in an entire wall of bookshelves, really tall, a wood futon on another wall, some plants, maybe a little stereo system to listen to CDs on, an armchair in the corner near the bookshelves, and a nice rug over the ceramic tile.

The walls are painted buttercream yellow and I do like that.

It is an absolutely amazing read for those that have not given it a look. In general biographies are not my thing. But, this one was brilliant. We could all use one tenth the courage that man demonstrated. If we did, we'd be in charge right now.

Another great one from years ago "Malcom X". read it years before they made the movie. It was really inspirational and disturbing. Get yourself a copy and read it "By Any Means Necessary"!
