What part did you go to? We get the heat AND extreme humidity here. Nothing like 110 heat index with an ozone level red (don't go outside unless you have to if you're old or have asthma!).

7. I went to Glen Rose

It was actually "cool" for the time I was there. I went in August and it was in the 80s. But, being a musician and from the north (we are vampires..lol) we don't get out until night, so it was hot for me.
But actually, I love the south and Texas was fun. Glen Rose is about 60 miles south of Fort Worth.
It would be great to have you up here. I like Texas women :). And considering I was drinking a few martinis tonight, don't take it the wrong way, I just have a vision of a few Texans I have in my head right now.
Umm..anyway, it would be a great road trip for ya :)

Today was pleasant, had the house opened up. A few days ago, we were already pushing 90.

I'm sure it would be a great road trip...I'm just perpetually broke.
