Dear Red Soxs Fan: I Apologize--it was all my fault!
I believed I removed the curse, but the powers of darkness and evil are very strong! I faltered in the 8th inning, giving up hope, and letting despair in, and therefore allowing the curse to return. I stopped believing, and it was a terrible thing to do!

"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings."

4. No, I don't blame them--because they believed!!!!
There is no curse, but there is history that weighs on the Red Sox and its fans, the knowledge of past disappointments. It's far too easy to give up and accept what has always been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Grady Little mad the BIGGEST mistake in the HISTORY OF BASEBALL!
whay the FUCK did Pedro EVER take the mound in the 8th?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

that is absofuckinglootly the WORST decision ANY manager has EVER made!!!!!!!!

he pitched BRILLIANTLY through 7 innings. YOU CANNOT ASK HIM TO GO THROUGH 8 INNINGS WITH A QUESTIONABLE SHOULDER THAT HE WAS STILLABLE TO WORK UP 93 MPH FASTBALLS WITH!!!!

you had Timlen and Wakefield waiting in the winge WITH ONLY 5 OUTS TO GO FOR FUCKSAKES!!!

:grr:

11. Amen to that...
As a Yankee fan, I have to say that our MVP might not have been Rivera but might actually have been Little.

Good series for the Sox though...they played their asses of off and showed tons of heart.

8. Its my fault, my fault
I'm a Sox fan. And I put $5 on the Yankees (albeit at 4-1 Boston odds), when they were down 4-0.

It was just too good a proposition to turn down, and I figured the Bostons just had to find a way to lose - sooner or later they'd remember their inferiority complex and perpetuate it, even if it meant signing Bill Buckner in the bottom of the ninth.

My only practical explanation for the jinx is that Grady Little was so distraught and overcome with grief at word of my treachery as a fan, that he forgot to pull Pedro until the eighth.

13. No, no it was MY fault
I jinxed the team by rooting for them in the first place--that always happens with teams/candidates/etc I support. (I'm the real reason Al Gore isn't president right now!!)

We just haven't found a way to move him from that stage to inauguration!

The red sox did not lose this game, Grady "chicken" little lost this game. My 3 year old son could see that pedro was through after the 7th inning. Instead Little leaves him in, when in every other playoff game he brought timlin in for the 8th, and williamson in for the 9th. Brain dead grady should not have been allowed to finish the game. Epstein should have fired him on the spot when he left pedro in. It is game 7, you empty your bullpen, you do not leave an obviously tired pitcher in to get shelled. Little should be shot, hung, burned at the stake, drawn and quartered, and then fired. He is already brain dead, so he won't feel a thing.

LOL! I'd say that sums it up re: Grady "Chicken Little".

Springfield, Mass. lets it out .... http://www.masslive.com/forums/redsox/
