do today's basketball players wear shorts so damn long and baggy, they look like women's culottes? They have reached the point where they are 6 inches below the knee. I would think this would impair the player's performance.

I don't think it's to hide anything of unusual proportions...I would think the atheletic supporter would do that.

5. When they show highlight footage from the 70's, you can really

see the difference between then and now. They really wore them short then, and even back in the 50's and 60's, the shorts were pretty darn short. I don't understand why they have them so long today. It would drive me crazy to have to move, run, dribble and shoot with all that hanging all over my legs. They should go back to something shorter and more athletic looking.
