Error puts strippers on public access TV

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) -- Viewers expecting to see the latest local meeting on their public access channel got an eyeful recently when Cablevision played a tape of nude dancers accidentally. The mistake affected customers in parts of Dutchess, Ulster, Putnam and Orange counties.

Hopewell Junction resident George Morton returned home from Palm Sunday Mass and turned on his television to see a striptease contest.

Cablevision said Thursday it was not a public access program and that a "program switching error" occurred.

"When it was detected, the programming was removed immediately," Cablevision spokesman Bill Powers said. "We have taken appropriate steps to prevent this from happening again."

I don't live where I could have seen it, but I would have gotten a thrill out of that. Especially the part where afterwards they act all embarrassed and talk about how they didn't mean to do it. Considering how things are going on the "morals" front lately even on the internet, I'd love to see an underground effort to do that on a certain day nationwide on local cable access channels. It'd be a hoot. No pun intended.

to show a rodeo but instead showed a porn flick accidentally showing somebody getting a blow job!!

7. Our public access station has had a show called

'The Mike Hunt Show.' The guy was all about pot and fucking. lots of graphic cheap motel room sex videos. on Sundays in the wee small hours. They left absolutely nothing to the imagination.
Last I heard of it there was a huge fight to have it taken off the air.

Strippers would not have shocked me after 'The Mike Hunt Show.'
