Poll question: Is it time to "Tune in, turn on and drop out ?"
With war being on the plate for at least the next 3 and 3/4 years, it looks like protesters are already in the mood and acting on it, but it hasn't turned into quite the same thing the 60's had to offer yet. If only musicians and great leaders (whether they be the MLK Jr.'s or otherwise) would show up and lead the revolution. Do you think it's time to organize on more levels and lead a counter culture movement more like that offered in the 1960's, i.e. "Tune in, turn on and drop out?"

2. It's tough out there
and if you do get another job, you have to fight like hell to get it and act like you are happy with the low wages and no medical. And the whole "temp" thing that seems to be the rage really makes you feel like you are one of more numbers than your paycheck has on it. It's dire out there. We need a revolution to change things at this point.

3. I'm Ready For The Revolution - Being A Professional Anarchist With
Two College degrees might just have some benefits and virtues.

Let's see, I need to disappear. Oh wait, in Bush's Amerika, I already don't exist. Problem solved!

4. I'm in college now
In May I will have a diploma in Electrical/Electronics Technology, which will maybe help me get a job making $7.25/hr at some moms and pops electrical service with no benefits. It's not looking too tasty just yet. I plan on starting in Computer Engineering in the fall because I would be happier working on computers and may could do that on my own for living expenses and not answer to "the man" as much. I miss my stoner days soooo bad right about now. I'm still questioning what is better about being sober during this hellacious time in America. I'd rather numb myself to it if you want to know the truth.

5. I Admire Your Fortitude To Keep Slogging Through School
I have degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration.

I have not the energy left to return to school and don't know what I'd study that I could stomach and would be useful when finished!

6. I'm doing it as a last resort before packing my backpack.
They sell college as the holy grail of money making, but half the millionaires and billionaires either dropped out, didn't ever go, or dropped out of high school even. If this doesn't lead to something hopeful, I plan on packing my backpack and just setting out across the country on foot at this point. I've never had the guts to do something like that before, but desparate times call for desparate measures. I'm giving "the system" 2 more years to make their lies seem true and all this "learning" worthwhile. Either they do better than this or I'm beach combing, begging or whatever it takes to find a better chance.

In the meantime, I may revery to my old ways and I'm definitely itching for a 60's style experience of just numbing myself to the reality of this Bush led misery and doom and gloom and yes, Tuning in, turning on, and dropping out.

10. I've never actually been
"overseas". I've had thoughts of going to Japan, but the prices I heard about changed that little dream to maybe one of America's Chinatowns as a closer Asian experience that I could possibly have.
