Losing that gut, how, how, how?
What's the most effective way to target your abdomen to lose a fat belly? This is really driving me nuts, I'd be happy with losing 20 lbs over 6 months, if possible, and virtually all of it is around my midsection.

2. You can't
there's really no such thing as targeted weight loss. You can't lose belly-fat without losing fat from all areas. But that's OK...

Eat well and exercise. Try to reduce fat and carbs, eat healthy proteins (skinless chicken, turkey, yogurt, etc.) Do strength-training exercises - weight lifting is great. Muscle burns more calories than other tissue, so the more muscle you have, the better. Go slow, don't obsess about the scale (go by how you feel and how your clothes fit) and keep it up. Of course, once the fat is gone, you can make your abs look better with a variety of crunches (but don't forget to balance them with lower-back exercises).

Now... if only I could convince myself to do all that again. I used to be in great shape and could bench-press 250 lbs just a few years ago. I gotta get back to that.

4. Yes You CAN! Liposuction!
And you can target that tummy right away.

Of course you can have a gastric bypass. Its not with out risk (you could die). You stomach is cut in half, sewn back together, and your super size intesitnes are cut away to happy meal size.

Or you could exercise that specific area and get 6 pack abbs!

5. Recent studies indicate that...
...the reason the high protien thing works is that you take in less calories, given that protiens don't increase the appetite like carbs (snack crap) does.

...and don't be so concerned with the poundage. A pound of muscle is far smaller than a pound of fat.

Lifestyle change is the barometer. Eat smart & be active.
