4. I don't know, but I hope not.
He couldn't get used to Jane after she was born. We tried for six months after she was born, but he was becoming miserable and withdrawn, and peeing everywhere. He was used to being the much fawned-over center of attention, and he used to sleep in our bed with us too. When Jane came along and took a lot of attention AND his place in our bed when I was trying to get the nursing going, it upset him. He never seemed to get over it.

I found a no-kill shelter to take him to, and they ASSURED me they'd find him the right home. I hope they did. I still feel guilty and a bit regretful we couldn't make it work. Maybe some expert advice on what to do would have helped.

10. My neighbors have an orange tabby...
...who doesn't seem to realize his owners have moved into a different apartment in the complex. He still huddles in their doorway and I feel sorry for him.

Last night I heard a cat crying, just meowing mournfully. I think it was him. Today I heard them calling him to fetch him home. Will he get the idea?

LH

(Slightly off topic since I don't have my own tabby.)
