8. My fav ep...
...has to be when Pats sets fire to the kitchen.

My fav line has to be; "Bloody bastard asthmatic cab drivers."

Cannikin, every time Sapph flies to Oz we will ultimately end up having an Ab Fab marathon.

I've got all the way up to season five on DVD. Have you heard if they are gonna do a season six yet?

Side note, they resently remade some Agatha Christie stuff. Anyway they recently aired them here in Oz. I watched them, because I love Agatha Christie, however Joanna Lumley was in the first ep. While watching it, you saw some little hints of Pats. Especially when she was having a martini and she slamed it back fast and turned around and said: "Straight down is the only way to drink them." LOL

25. We had the new series of F&S recently
Which was marvellous as ever.

I haven't heard anything about a new AbFab and I hope that they don't make a new one. The one-off episode going to New York was ghastly beyond belief and without point - adding a new series like that would ruin most of what preceeded it. The genius of the first few series can so easily be over-shadowed by the over-extension of adding more and more series once the natural course has been run.

9. Well Cannikin
you have a new best friend. ME!!!! I can NEVER find anyone who has really watched AbFab, much less memorized every episode of every season of the entire series, from the first to the most recent.

Sweetie dahling, sweetie dahling, sweetiedahlingsweetiedahling, why did I start calling you that?

Because you couldn't remember my name the first few years..

Ah yes.

10. My Girlfriend's Boss Builit and Enormous Beach House
on the outer banks and named it (English style) "Absolutely Fabulous". Complete with a whole set of DVDs for the renters.

My favorite moment is when Patsy gets caught by customs with an incriminating baggie. After disappearing into a back room, the customs agent comes back and says "You're free to go. It's a harmless white powder. He leaves the room, followed by Patsy, screaming "Come back here! I paid 500 pounds for that!"

11. Sweetie, Darling... It's impossible to pick just one.
Edited on Tue Mar-29-05 11:48 PM by Patsy Stone
One great moment was when Patsy hallucinated that she was interviewed by Hello Magazine. In fact, that whole episode, "Hospital" was a riot. Helena Bonham-Carter as Saffy, "You're wearing your Lacroix..."

And when they see Edina's father's coffin in the room with that ridiculous hanger scuplture she bought. She realizes what it is and Patsy asks her, "Yes, darling. But is it art?"

Also, loooooove Bubble. "I've been headshrunk...by Vogue."

Cheers!

Miranda Richardson was so f'n funny in that episode. She had the baby flashcards. "Mummy! Say, Mummy! Very, very, tired Mummy!"

OMG. That minimalist apartment in the 60s flashback scene was hysterical!

22. The Princess' Favorite AbFab Quote
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 12:12 AM by CO Liberal
Edy talking to her mother:

"Don't think you're so clever. I've started repressed false memory therapy; I'll get something on you yet. You in a wood in a hood. It's all coming back to me.

23. I love AbFab, and can't really pick a favorite
but I reacall being in total hysterics a few times during the ENTIRE "Death" episode. I have a dozen different episodes on tape and will get the DVDs as soon as I can get my hands on them! I can't get enough, either.

"Oh, look, it's the little daughter"-nurse smacking Eddie's "crust"

"Your father is dead. What does that make you feel, mum? And you can STOP SMIRKING."

"I want to see the figures. Also, I want one of those, like, those bloodheads. You know, those frozen bloodheads filled with blood. I just want..everything, all right? I mean, it all looks like bollocks so it must be worth something."

"Um..Eddie tells me that Mr. M...you know...dead. Well..um..I..condole you."

"A CARTOON!"

"I'm Gestalt." "And I'm ga-going."

Eddie: "Inside of me, sweetie, inside of me, there is a thin person just screaming to get out."

27. I think the most fearless women in the world
are women who aren't afraid to LET GO and BE FUNNY.

I forgot Bubble in the "Morocco" episode, with her Yankee-Bloody-Doodle oufit, trying to explain that the "little animal..creeps about..not a rat" broke off "the typewriter on the television with VD".

I also love Saffy's friend Sarah, when she excitedly asked Saffy about a man she'd dated. She was hyperventilating, bouncing up & down in her chair, and asking, "Did you sex him??" Then Saffy had to slap her face to get her to calm down. Sarah seemed to understand.

29. There's a new episode coming on Friday at 10pm
on Oxygen, I think. They were doing a marathon Saturday morning, and, of course, I watched it in spite of having all the DVDs. I can't find any more information on the new episode, though. I've even been to the BBC site and it's all out of date. Probably just a special. Saundrers looks particularly good in the clips - very long hair with the ethno-chic outfits.

Oh, and before I forget: My name is Atlas Mugged and I'm an AbFaboholic.
