I used to read a lot of books, from the Kabbalah center and some classic Kabbalah texts, but I stopped as soon as the "counselor" I was paired up with in my phone conversations suggested that the solutions to my problems "might be" buying a $1500 set of encyclopedia-like books in Aramaic, or something. He suggested I take advantage of the payment plan.
Both of these articles are on iMDB, today. :banghead:
Sony Removes Kabbalah Bracelet from Kutcher's Wrist
Sony spent about $100,000 to use digital imaging technology to remove Ashton Kutcher's red string Kabbalah bracelet from his wrist, which appeared in scenes throughout his latest movie, Guess Who, MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls reported Monday. Walls quoted a source as saying that test audiences "were really annoyed" by the bracelet. According to a posting on the Kabbalah website, the bracelet "protects us from the influences of the Evil Eye. Evil eye is a very powerful negative force. It refers to the unfriendly stare and unkind glances we sometimes get from people around us." A believer might well have concluded that the removal of the bracelet contributed to the plethora of negative reviews for the movie.

Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie celebrated the Jewish holiday of Purim in an unusual manner on Thursday - by dressing up as a nun and the Pope. The couple were spotted on the streets of London as they made their way to a Kabbalah party to celebrate the holiday, which commemorates the day Queen Esther saved the Jewish people living in ancient Persia from extermination. Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, tells MTV, "Yes, she was dressed as a nun and Guy was dressed as the pope. Some Catholic groups are saying stuff, but Purim is a joyous holiday occasion. Madonna and Guy had a great time drinking and dancing. It's funny, because she said that she was happy that the pictures of her are out there because her father would be so proud. She said that when she was a girl she wanted to be a nun and she guesses that she's still a nun at heart."
