I finally did it! Today was the First time I paid over $2.00 a gallon
for gas. Several weeks ago I paid $1.99 9/10 but that was the highest. Today I got it for $2.13 9/10 took $35.25 to fill my Camry. I knew it was a matter of time, But until now I've able to catch it as it dipped below two dollars, but it has been a while since it has done that around here.

it is actually less expensive in Missouri, lower gas tax and if you have ever driven the roads in Missouri you'll understand the gas tax is less

4. I just drove by about 8 stations... each one... 2.28
I could swear it was 2.09 two days ago...

Funny how they all rise to exactly the same amount at exactly the same time. Used to be a reason to suspect collusion... now its considered business as usual.

9. I know, as a Lawyer I've represented people who have driven off
without paying for gas. It is a misdemeanor in Kansas

New Jersey has been lower as well because of the lower gas taxes. Can anyone confirm?

13. I'll need to fill up tomorrow. I'll have to pay 2.119 to 2.139, unless
it goes up overnight.

I try to be careful about my driving habits and consolidate trips for errands and such whenever possible, and I can usually go 2-3 weeks on a tank of gas.

We have a road trip planned for summer, though, and I'm going to have to budget a lot more for gas than I thought.
