Song #1 (when it has been guessed I'll post the next one)

I've been to London, seen seven wonders. I know to trip is just to fall
I used to rock it, sometimes I'd roll it. I always knew what it was for.

There can be no denyin' that the wind 'll shake 'em down
And the flat world's flyin'. There's a new plague on the land

If we could just join hands

Traversed the planet when heaven sent me. I saw the kings who rule them all
Still by the firelight and purple moonlight. I hear the rested rivers call
And the wind is crying, from a love that won't grow cold
My lover, she is lying, on the dark side of the globe

If we could just join hands

You got me rockin' when I ought to be a-rollin'
Darlin', tell me, darlin', which way to go
You keep me rockin', baby, then you keep me stolen
Won't you tell me, darlin', which way to go... that's right

Oh how I wonder, oh how I worry and I would dearly like to know
I've all this wonder of earthly plunder will it leave us anything to show

And our time is flyin' see the candle burnin' low
Is the new world rising, from the shambles of the old

If we could just join hands.

It's the Rover. Probably in my top 5 of favorite songs because I think world peace would be solved if we could just hold hands

5. Song #2 (btw, I removed any references to the title)
Close the doors, put out the light
You know they won't be home tonight
The snow falls hard and don't you know
The winds of Thor are blowing cold
They're wearing steel that's bright and true
They carry news that must get through
They choose the path where no-one goes
They hold XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
They ask XXXXXXXXXXX.

Walking side by side with death
The devil mocks their every step
The snow drives back the foot that's slow
The dogs of doom are howling more
They carry news that must get through
To build a dream for you and me
They choose the path where no-one goes
They hold XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
They ask XXXXXXXXXXX.

7. Which is better: LZ original or the Page/Plant remake
I thought the P/P remake made it almost a completely different song, but I enjoyed both the same

10. The live album?
Only heard it once, and I don't remember it. I remember liking the string section in general, but I can't think of any specific licks.

Anyway, Houses of the Holy is where I think Zeppelin peaked, and for me it's hard to top it.

15. I'd have to go with Physical Graffiti
Houses of the Holy was a little too commericialized for my tastes even though I love "The Ocean"

Presense was too experimental. I love the album, but I have to be in a Presense mood to listen to it. Oddly enough it's the only regular LZ album that I can't name all the songs on it.

But I do love In through the Out door - it would have been a great concert!! The first time I saw Robert Plant live in concert he opened with "In the Evening" and it made me think that this is the song they would have opened with on their ITTOD tour if it had happened (and I was actually going to go to)

9. Next Led Zeppelin Lyrics
When I done quit hollerin' baby
I believe I shake 'em on down
Get my babe, won't be late,
You know by that I mean seconds late
Ah, must I holler,
Must I shake 'em on down,
Well I've been mistreated, babe,
I believe I'll shake 'em on down.
Shake ah.

Well I ain't no monkey.
I can't climb no tree,
No brown skin woman gonna make
No monkey out of me,
I ain't no monkey,
I can't climb no tree,
Been mistreated babe
I believe I'll shake 'em on down,
Well I've been mistreated babe
I believe I'll shake 'em on down.

Listen mama,
Gave my baby a twenty dollar bill,
If that don't get her,
Sure my shot, shot, shot-gun will,
Yeah, I gave my baby a twenty dollar bill,
If that don't get that woman,
I'm sure my shot-gun will.
Gonna go shoot her now.

14. Well it's white English rock kids doing tribute to country blues
I think they did that best on "Traveling Riverside Blues" and nobody has ever got the rock bass/drums bottom any finer than Bonham and Jones did-no one.

13. Song #4
Well I just got into town today
To find my girl who's gone away
She took the Greyhound at the General Store
I searched myself I searched the town
When I finaly did sat down
I find myself no wiser than before

She said we couldn't do no wrong
No other love could be so strong
She locked up my heart in her bottom drawer
Now she took my heart she took my keys
From in my old blue dungarees
And I'll never go to Texas anymore

Now my baby's gone I don't know what to do
She took my love and walked right out the door
And if I ever find that girl I know one thing for sure
I'm gonna give her something like she never had before

I took her love at seventen
A little late these days it seems
But they said heaven's well worth waiting for
I took her word I took it all
Beneath the sign that said U-haul
She left angels hanging round for more

I thought I had it all sewn up
Our love, a plot, a pick-up truck
But folks said she was after something more
I never did quite understand
All that talk about rockin' bands
But they just rolled my doll right out the door

21. Song #5
Wanna tell you about the girl I love
My she looks so fine
She's the only one that I been dreamin' of
Maybe someday she will be all mine
I wanna tell her that I love her so
I thrill with her every touch
I need to tell her she's the only one I really love

I got a woman, wanna ball all day
I got a woman, she won't be true, no
I got a woman, stay drunk all the time
I said I got a little woman and she won't be true

Sunday morning when we go down to church
See the menfolk standin' in line
I said they come to pray to the Lord
With my little girl, looks so fine
In the evening when the sun is sinkin' low
Everybody's with the one they love
I walk the town, Keep a-searchin' all around
Lookin' for my street corner girl

I got a woman, wanna ball all day
I got a woman, she won't be true, no no
I got a woman, stay drunk all the time
I said I got a little woman and she won't be true

In the bars, with the men who play guitars
Singin', drinkin' and rememberin' the times
My little lover does a midnight shift
She followed around all the time
I guess there's just one thing a-left for me to do
Gonna pack my bags and move on my way
Cause I got a worried mind
Sharin' what I thought was mine
Gonna leave her where the guitars play

I got a woman, she won't be true, no no
I got a woman, wanna ball all day
I got a woman, stay drunk all the time
I got a little woman and she won't be true

I said she won't be true

XXxXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I got a woman, she won't be true
Lord, hear what I say
I got a woman, wanna ball all day

23. Actually it was never on any of the main albums including Coda
Although there was a second cut of "I Can't Quit You Babe", which was also on their first Album.

Heye Hey What can I do was the B side of the Immigrant Song single (which I have)

24. Song #6
Oh, Baby, it's cryin' time,
Oh, Baby, I got to fly.
Got to try to find a way,
Got to try to get away,
'Cause you know I gotta get away from you, Babe.

Oh, Baby, the river's red,
Oh, Baby, in my head.
There's a funny feelin' goin' on,
I don't think I can hold out long.

And when the owls cry in the night,
Oh, Baby, Baby, when the pines begin to cry,
Baby, Baby, Baby, how do you feel?
If the river runs dry, Baby,
How do you feel?

Craze, Baby, the rainbow's end,
Mmm, Baby, it's just a den
For those who hide,
Who hide their love to depths of life
And ruin dreams that we all knew so, Babe.

And when the owls cry in the night,
Oh, Baby, Baby, when the pines begin to cry,
Baby, Baby, Baby, how do you feel?
If the river runs dry, Baby,
How do you feel?
