Is it creepy to offend someone you are dating?

Killed me, but I dumped the most gorgeous woman I had dated in years when she said she liked Bush. We were at a Go-Betweens concert and she said, you are being too mean about Bush. I said, how can that be true. She said, I am a republican and he is a great man. I said, watch the rest of the concert and that is that.

This was the third date. She knew I was way left. To me, that is lying.

2. I make it a point...

to offend early, and offend often. That way any later real offending I might have to do will have a diminished effect.

It also weeds out those who might not understand some of my "finer" qualities...
