3. Really excellent olive oil, or clarified butter
Unless I'm baking and then it's butter or European butter. Never, ever, ever margarine. Ever.

4. margerine is really bad for you
is like lard, molecularly speaking, as are Jif and Skippy type (No separartion) peanut butters

6. Even Lard is better than margarine.
At least Lard is real pork fat.

Margarine is more like Crisco, the original Lard Substitute.

5. Butter with one exception...
use Fleishman's Original margarine when baking cookies using the Original Nestle Tollhouse Cookie recipe. I swear. They just turn out better with margarine...but only if you use Fleishman's. :shrug:

Everything else...butter. Definitely.
