6. Watch this beautiful animal closely ... for his own sake.

The few Pit Bulls who act out are giving all within the breed a bad Rep. Recently a thoughtless owner of three Pit Bulls allowed them to roam a neighborhood near ours where they killed an 82 year old woman and her little dog (Lhasa Apso).

I'm with the folks who believe that there's no bad dogs, just bad owners. Unfortunately there's nut cases who generalize in every population. Keep your beautiful and well trained Pit Bulls close to you because there are SICK-MINDED people who wish to do the entire breed harm ,i.e., some were found "killed" in a park in Saint Louis, MO.

Most especially do NOT keep their water bowls outside where others can gain access (they might spike it with antifreeze).

Sorry to be the bearer of sad news but forewarned is forearmed. It would be very sad if someone's beloved pet would be targeted because of such INSANE prejudice that's unfortunately creeping into pockets throughout the USA.
