The Supreme Court today rejected the Schindler's latest appeal on behalf of their daughter Terri Schiavo. Schiavo is in a "persistent vegetative state" and had her feeding tube removed earlier in the week. In a related story, it was announced that reality star Anna Nicole Smith has gone into hiding. Tom DeLay has been mum on the former centerfold's whereabouts, but it is rumored that more ethics violations are forthcoming.

Oh freakin' monkeyballs! It just dawned on me. This whole thing -- the Schiavo case, DeLay's ethics violations, the whacko evilgelical outrage -- is just part of a big new Fox reality show publicity stunt. Think about it. Tom DeLay and Anna-Nicole holed up in a Southern Baptist Church basement. Church potlucks. Feeding tubes. Ethics violations galore. Jesus praises. That's a reality ratings monster.
