A Great Day at the Grocery Store!!!
Yes, I was paying too much for what I was buying (thank you inflated gas prices). Yes, I think I overdid it again on the easter basket thing. But darned if I didn't get in line with a bunch of people angry as hell about 1.the economy 2. the administration 3. social security (the cashier was one of those unique and fantastic!! people who have to work 3 jobs. And they were happy to talk about it. I swear we would have all gone out for coffee...if we hadn't just spent all of our cash on a 2 liter of pop, a loaf of bread...and that damnable Easter candy! ;)

Have a good day people, changes are coming. I feel it!

2. I know. It's awful isn't it? I swore I would never use the term "Pop" when
I first moved here. But I got sick of ordering "sodas" and ending up with ice cream sodas. The Michiganders are an odd lot. I mean that respectfully of course!

The used to point and laugh when I used the term "bubbler" for water fountain. :hi:

5. Now, MrsG. It surely is "pop" just as surely as I'm a Minnesotan.
I *refuse* to call it "soda" out here just because the Idahoans are wrong.

:D

6. We tried to tell em before the election but they just wouldn't listen.
We tried to tell em it would be more of the same and worse if they reselected Shit-for-Brains and his co-conspiritors. Hopefully they won't have short-term memory loss when it's time to vote next go around.
