I look for the one "Love the sinner, hate the sin" I googled it and found a lot of strips but not that one. Does someone has it on its computer or can scan it?

That would be great. Thanks!

I did find another job lead today-in case I never hear back from the interview.

7. Another dispatch job.
Dispatch isn't like a regular job-it takes about an average of 8-12 weeks to find out if they can hire you legally. They have to do a background check (about 20 years back) just to be able to offer qualifications on the computers.
And, of course, if they can hire you legally it still doesn't mean that you have the job.
I mailed a simple follow up note a few days ago. I know that I need to wait at least four weeks for the background to have been completed (that is if they busted their asses over it). FBI usually takes the longest-they take their sweet time on nonemergency fingerprint checks.

11. Because I handle people's personal histories.
I can find out their name, age, date of birth, social security number, address, vehicles that they own, height, weight, hair and eye color.
I also have access to criminal histories. I can find out if someone has ever been arrested and what the charge was. I can find out where they were arrested, who they were arrested by and the sentence. This also adds additional descriptive factors (scars, marks and tatoos, teeth, health, etc.)
I can do this to any US and Canadian citizen. I can also send info to Interpol on any person around the world (for example, if someone originally from Germany were to rob a bank in my town, the info would be sent nationwide and to Interpol. They would send back any further criminal history on that person and any other info that is deemed pertinent-such as where this person's parents live, etc).

The background is so involved because there is so much information that I could access. If I were a dishonest person, then I could easily sell the info about anyone (and I do mean anyone-politicians, movie stars, etc. The only person you should never try to access info on the is president. They will track you down for that).

16. A lot of people don't realize that.
They think that we just answer phone calls.

BTW-I usually enter all of the warrants too. I am the one who makes sure that departments nationwide can have access to warrants coming from my department. So you really have to be careful w/ who you hire in that field.

22. some of the puke politicians don't think so.
They think that you can get a "trained monkey" in here to do the same work-for about $5 US an hour. I don't make a ton of money (never get rich in this field) but you must have people who can remain calm, speak articulatly, follow instructions closely, have excellent hearing, keep track of details quickly and be able to "read" people. I have heard of a few departments cutting their wages considerably. They have been making the news for excessive mistakes-mistakes that make all dispatchers look really bad. But the fact is, you get what you pay for. And many are leaving the field to dispatch for private contractors, which can be more money.

33. I snuck out for a few minutes.
I wanted a breakfast from McDonalds. I was in the drive-thru and a truck pulled up behind me. They were fine for a minute, then they started screaming at me. I stuck my head out the window. They looked at me and then started calling me nasty names that are insults to lesbians. I told them to shut it up. They threw 2 beer bottles at my car and tried to ride up on my bumper. I pulled forward since it was my turn at the window. The crew at Mickey D's stared at them. They pulled away at a high speed, laughing and calling me dirty names. I felt the need to memorize the license plate on the vehicle. That's when I saw the annoy a liberal bumper sticker.
I called the police and gave them the license plates, the vehicle description and the description of the suspects. They called a few minutes ago, stating that they had them in custody and that they would be charged w/ harrassment and vandalism. They are awaiting the results of their BAC test too to find out if they were drinking and driving.

Funny. I might have put 2 cons in jail tonight.

like the ones in the truck. They say that they thought they heard something but no one saw anything. I have beer all over the hatch of my car to prove otherwise. Plus, these kids have supposedly been arrested before.

23. I'm just up for a few minutes{I hope}
This should make you jealous - I slept ten hours Sunday night. I'm seeing a big difference in the way I feel by just changing to decaffeinated coffee. I haven't had a glass of soda since Friday but I did get out to the grocery store yesterday and picked up decaffeinated Coke to give that a try, I'm so picky about the way things taste.

It's snowing at the rate of an inch an hour since 7 PM last night. There are more snow storms headed this way over the weekend. But it will end soon. It's going to be a soggy mess for a while longer. Today's high is guesstimated to be 42.

25. that is good that you feel better without the caffein
and I understand your saying about the taste. The decaf coke just doesn't taste the same.

We have really spring weather here. Sun and clouds and over Easter it is supposed to rain. But at least no more snow :bounce:
