Do you believe in ghosts/spirits, etc.?

My relatives from Canada are coming to visit tomorrow and the room my aunt stays in at my grandmothers is haunted. I get a bad vibe, animals wont go in there, she felt someone sit on the bed late at night, and my cousin saw someone standing in the corner. She lives in an old farm house thats about 150+ years old.

I figure as long as he/she/it doesnt bother me physically I dont mind.

7. There were some scary as hell stories posted here at Halloween

Scary enough to curl your toes. All about hauntings, sightings, etc. I'm 38 years old, rational, sane, a mother and a student...but when I was in college I lived in a haunted house. It's the only time in my life anything like that has ever happened. I was living near Wimberley, Texas with my dad and step-mom. We all heard noises but never saw anything. My dad is so earthbound it's painful, but he heard things, too. Most of the sounds were like metal pots and pans being thrown on the floor, but nothing was ever out of place. One morning when I was home alone in my room, I heard footsteps, then it sounded like every pot in the kitchen was being thrown in the floor. When I got up the guts to go look, nothing was out of place. Very, very weird. But, none of us ever had any sensations of dread or things like that. Just the sounds. Strangest thing that's ever happened to me.

So yeah, I believe you and your vibe. :)

that I'm not the only one here! I refuse to go upstairs there. I heard my basement door open then slam shut the other night, had dear ol hubby go check and nothing was there. Odd.

I would like to be able to scoff, but I have had a couple of experiences in my life that could not have been anything other than hauntings.

I've seen no evidence that ghosts exist, but I am hesitant to say that they do not.

12. It seems equally hard to believe ghosts don't exist to me

I hear so many stories, a few weird encounters of my own, I don't really know what to think.

The one encounter I read about happened in a college in Illnois that really just got to me was about a haunted dorm room. Every student that slept in there complained about a haunting so eventually they just stopped assigning the room. Eventually room space was getting tight so they just decided to open up the room as the hounted dorm room legend had kinda fallen apart over the past two decades. However just to convince students the DEAN decided to spend the night in the room. Around 2 in the morning she came bolting out of the room screaming at the top of her lungs looking extremely pail, LOCK IT! BOLT IT CLOSED! and so it was, and no one has ever slept their again... that one always gives me goosebumps and makes my hair stand up.
