He's pretty big now. . . he's also a finicky fuzzy when it comes to food. Picky bastard :). Try and give him food that's got fresher ingredients and even more fish and yummy stuff like that and he turns his nose up.

How did that happen with Abbott and you? I am sure you posted it before but after ET told the story of how he got his furball I am curious how you got your cutie.

36. Abbott was found abandoned in my apartment complex area

There are ferral cats where I live but they won't come anywhere near you. I was coming home late from work one night back in early Dec 2003 and I saw him picking garbage from a nearby dumpster. I have no clue why I bothered even trying to go near him because most of the cats will just run away. But he didn't run away - he actually approached me. So I ran inside and got a piece of cheese and I offered it to him and he came right to me. When I got ahold of him was when I found the flea collar left on him. So I brought him inside and tossed him into my bathroom with a bowl of tuna while I went to the local dollar store to get some food, litter & litter pan.

I did put signs up near local businesses of finding this cat but no one ever responded. So I kept him even though that horny bastard kept me up at nights howling at the female cats in heat (he wasn't fixed). The minute I spent $250 getting his shots and having him neutered was when he officially became my pet. (That was right after the near year in 2004). A few months later I thought he needed a girl friend and I adopted Evita.

Abbott was named for Abbie Hoffman, but since he's such a bad cat I call him Abbott all the time. When I found him, his fur was nasty, his paws were callused and his litter box smelled horrible all the time. Now that he gets the best food and care he's just turn into the softest most loveable cat and yes, the better food does make for a better cat when it comes to breath and litter box!!

29. Hehehe Quinn was just pure luck

I told a lady at work I was thinking about getting a cat, and a few weeks later, she comes into my office with him in a carrier :).

One of her best friends has a young teenage stepdaughter who smuggled Quinn and his sister into her bedroom and was trying to raise them in her closet without mom and dad finding out :).

Anyway, mom got up to go to the bathroom one night and heard meowing and squeaking coming through the wall so decided to investigate, so Quinn came to live with me :).

His sister looks like a black version of him for the most part. This is the only picture I have and it's not a good picture

That is the cutest fluffy kitten I've ever seen. (I've seen cuter short hair kittens, but that doesn't mean Quinn isn't exceedingly cute.)
