DU needs a thread in which we can ROCK OUT!
Come on, with Schiavopalooza continuing in GD with what seems like unlimited ferocity, what we really need is to rock out. So let us now honor the Gods (and Goddesses) of Rock with a song that goes up to 11 on the ROCK meter!

:headbang:**sing along**:headbang:

Holy Diver
You've been down too long in the midnight sea
Oh what's becoming of me

Ride the tiger
You can see his stripes but you know he's clean
Oh don't you see what I mean

Gotta get away
Holy Diver

Shiny diamonds
Like the eyes of a cat in the black and blue
Something is coming for you

Race for the morning
You can hide in the sun 'till you see the light
Oh we will pray it's all right

Gotta get away-get away

Between the velvet lies
There's a truth that's hard as steel
The vision never dies
Life's a never ending wheel

Holy Diver
You're the star of the masquerade
No need to look so afraid

Jump on the tiger
You can feel his heart but you know he's mean
Some light can never be seen

Holy Diver
You've been down too long in the midnight sea
Oh what's becoming of me

5. Well, we don't care in the least

Cause our metal is a feast!
But there's always someone trying to put it down
So we crank the music louder
And our voices turn to power
With a wall of sound we'll blow 'em all away

Rock you all around the world
We're gonna rock
We're gonna roll
We're gonna shake you down
We're gonna lose control

8. He's gay? I'm shocked.

(That is the oddest assortment of artists I've ever seen on a magazine cover. Huey Lewis and Black Flag? Wow.)

9. He actually was married to the bassist's sister
then later got divorced for obvious reasons. I think being gay helped his career immensely after JP sort of went on hiatus. It kept in the news and he also kept putting out good music solo. Now he is back with Priest and their new album is excellent!!!!!
