Woman who sold grilled cheese sandwich w/ virgin Mary's image for
$28,000 just sold the SKILLET she cooked it in. $20,000. Just on local news, might be a link at http://www.kotv.com

I can't begin to think of any words to write about this...

17. I agree.. I would love to be as creative...
She has earned now what, $40,000?

I personally think it's amazing... if something like that ever happens to me I hope to be as creative as she has been.

23. The genius of it is...
...that nothing extraordinary happened to her. Shit like this happens to you every day. You just have to come up with a way to sell it as extraordinary.

I would love to know how many millions of dollars in saints, UFO's, gods, or spirits I've eaten over the years.

5. That exact story was just on my local news in Madison, too
It must have been one of those 'Video News Releases'. They only showed less than a minute of video, with our local commentators talking over it, so they probably edited the VNR here.

Who do you suppose it would be for? I'm thinking ebay paid for it.

16. I'd say vacuum seal it, then freeze it., but then you'd just have a pile
of shit - on second thought, that's probably pretty close to the real thing anyway.

13. If I were a better artist, I'd scrape the teflon off the bottom of one
in the VM's image and cook up a few dozen grilled cheese sandwiches!

21. I'm a pretty good artist,
but haven't tried the "medium" of scraping a skillet. Do you have a simple black & white photo of VM? Might be worth giving this a try.

15. A stupid decision, IMO.
Just 20,000? When she could have used that skillet to make hundreds of Virgin Mary sandwiches. Not smart. Not smart at all.
B-)
