17. I Was Supposed to Be Born on the 27th
My mom went into labor - it was Thanksgiving Day - but the labor didn't progress. They sent her home, and I was born at 7:26 the next morning.

BTW, my son was also born at 7:26 am - on June 1, 1975.

32. My mom's labor didn't progress either....

Insufficient cervical dilation. So they called a poor, hapless surgeon away from her Thanksgiving dinner and she came in and did a c-section. I was born at 7:58 PM.

It's neat that you and your son were both born at the exact same time of day!

I've seen WAY too many Republican presidents, though I can at least say for Eisenhower that he helped lead the Allies to victory in World War II and later warned us about the dangers of the military industrial complex. Would that today's GOP would heed that warning...
