So in the UK you can be charged to enter a contest?

So I got to watch the season-opener of Fifth Gear, a British car show, last night; and they're giving away a Porsche Boxter. So of course I want to enter to win one (and if I got a trip to London to pick it up, all the better. I'd figure out that pesky import stuff later, right?) And so I try to enter online, but was redirected to a site that wanted me to pay a pound to enter! Booger to that!

2. As I've noticed

I have a recently acquired backlog of Top Gear and Fifth Gear episodes, and that is what I've noticed. But I thought entering online would be free. Ah well, I didn't need the Boxster anyway ;-)
