collective selffulling expectations ?

Who is going to win the Series ? It really makes little difference to moof but even as detatched as that statement would seem to represent
there seems to be a certain expectation as to how it should turn out.

The short answer has been from the beginning Cubs & Sox in Seven for their leagues then a 7 game series with the Sox winning since that is the larger market commercially.

The point is with all the players & fans knowing at some level that seven game playoffs & series are best for the bottom line & also offer the most entertainment there would be the collective expectation of seven games no matter the teams playing.

So just curious, for all the sports fans that know all the stats from the beginning, how many times has the series gone seven games starting with the 69 Mets, wasn't that the last time so many long time losing clubs came so close & one won it ?

A series with both the sox & the Cubs has got to be what almost everyone outside New York wants because that is what seems due.

Not to make a case for Karma but when so many people are thinking the same thing it seems like it would make a difference on the players even if they did not think so.

Just to be clear, irreguardless of Karma, moof is not saying there is such a thing as karma or irreguardless.
