It's officially spring on the calendar, though it's hard to see it in other parts of the country. How do you celebrate the end of winter and the return of warmth?

I dance naked in the woods, trying to summon the nymphs and satyrs of old. That we may drink mulled wine and feast upon roasted swine.

3. I'm getting my first pedicure of the season this weekend

Yep, I'm going to get my claws groomed and polished up so I can wear open-toed shoes. Ah, spring!

Lots of men get manis and pedis these days. Okay, maybe not lots, but plenty more than there used to be.

3 to 6 inches in the city, 8 to 12 west and south.

Oh Well..... it will be 98 and humid soon enough, I guess.

13. Take the kid to the playground.

Tried this yesterday but most of it was still covered with a sheet of ice. The only place it had really melted was under the swings, so swinging would have involved walking through an 8 inch deep pool of coooold water. Fortunately the jungle gym/slide thing was clear, allowing the munchkin to go down the slide 5,000 times.

We're gonna try again in a couple of weeks after things have fully thawed and (hopefully) dried up a bit.
